I got this email via my contact page. Don't know who sent it, but I have an idea. Anyway, I thought it was appropriate to post it as a blog being it IS Thursday...duh. Happy thoughts.

Kari and Kristen (the picture of unemployed in MN) had an extra fun excursion today. We went to Lake Calhoun and watched the beautiful people as well as hermaphidites stroll in the park. We also ate at Fat Lorenzo's for lunch. Be jealous..very jealous!:-)

Today I spoke with a woman at a nanny agency who said she has a couple families in mind for me. I will be getting their numbers tomorrow and finding out more. Sounds like I will be somewhere outside of Manhattan, NY.

When I went online to find out more about the area, I found this quote and decided I like Woody Allen...

One more day of sitting...and waiting. I had the most fun weekend ever though, which makes up for these kinds of days. Saturday we shopped a bit more and then I went to Jackie's grad party. It was SOOO much fun! She had kareoke, margaritas, and college friends there. Kris Kross is all I have to say! Sunday I went mini golfing and bumper boating with Todd...SERIOUSLY! And now...I sit.

We had SO much fun today! Sue, Kari, and I went to Calhoun Square and shopped till we dropped. Seriously, I NEED to get a job so I can support my expensive taste! Man, someday I'll have the most beautiful place...but until then mom and dad's will suffice.:-(

Update on the interview situation: I got a call from the principal at the alternative school and they haven't gotten all of the references back yet. They'll make a decision when they come back. However, I like to think that it's a good sign that he called me to let me know what's up. Also, I have an interview with Saturn of Brooklyn Park for a receptionist job on Monday. Options are always good.
