Ski trip has ended. Minus the skiing and/or tubing. Met another nice officer when he pulled me over. Whirpooled in subzero temps. Chipped a tooth. Danced with boys. Slept very little.

I'm moving to Hunter, NY...and soon! It's beautiful, peaceful, and fun. I could work at Slopes or Powder!? They even have country radio stations there! SWEET!

I'm a genius!! I'm back online. Now I have XP like I originally tried to get but destroyed my computer trying AND I have more memory and a new network card. All for $15.
Anyway, my day is MUCH better now. AND I bought a new copy of "The Little Mermaid" to play with J in the car. We're both huge fans.hehee.

Crazy lazy weekend. Ended with a pleasant 5 hour marathon of "Sex and the City--the complete first season". Wonderfully clever writers. It's just what my single, independent woman mentality needs...a show that demonstrates how pathetic single, independent women are sometimes.

I can't believe it's already Sunday! Sleeping in is so much fun that I sometimes let it ruin my weekends. This was one of them. Friday I played a mean game of scrabble with Carolyne and Rob...and lost. They cheated though. They used words like "nubile" and "lustre". Like those are really words!! Last night we sang karaeoke at the greatest hick bar since The Corral in Nelson, MN. Very fun. Today I think I'll rent the first 2 seasons of "Sex in the City" to catch up. My nose is snotty.

Back to same ol' thing. Had a huge playdate this morning which was fun, but sadly enough the most exciting thing in my life right now is that Kari got a puppy last night!!!!! His name is Legoless (not sure if that's spelled right).
Joe Millionaire started last night and Brooke got to interview him in person yesterday which is very kewl!
My New Year's resolution is to start reading so I began She's Come Undone a few nights ago.
Uh, yah, that's about it. My computer's still down but I'm improvising...that's why you aren't seeing as many posts. So sorry to disappoint!hehee.

Ok, so here goes. A long absense from Kristen requires a long excuse since I have exposed my computer addiction.

I made it back to Jersey safely and without any notable problems. When I got back my cousin, Tonya, was awaiting my arrival (because she got a flight nearly 12 hours before mine...oopys). We had a great week together. I got to show her around the area I live as well as Rockafeller Center and Times Square. For New Year's, Kacey, Tonya and I went on a boat cruise around Manhattan for the night. It was incredible!!! Fireworks over the Statue of Liberty, open bar, coffee, cute jamaicans, girls sleeping on toilets, and carrot cake. You know, the norm. I'll try to get pics up soon, however.....

My computer died. Tonya was a good samaritan bringing her XP disks and in the process of installing the Windows part I told her to uninstall Windows 98. Not smart. There are reasons I don't go into computers. I'm a risk taker.:-(
Anyway, so now I'm working from Brooke's dial-up laptop. Therefore, until I get the funds to get a new computer I won't be on MSN or any of the other fun messengers. Maybe it's a sign. Ok, now I'm rambling.
Keep checking this page though...I promise I'll keep updating. Brooke said today, "Your computer isn't working? It's a very sad day at jerneez.com" TRUE THAT!

PS. I always feel like Doogie Howser when I'm writing these entries. Watching the curser type every letter. Then backspacing. Awww.
