I got new ......another ........ new....... used....car!!!!!!! it's a saturn...i like it a lot. If you come to New Jersey, you can ride in it.

It's finally Friday. I fear that I'm losing website viewers cuz my life is soooo damn boring lately! I'm sooooo sorry, guys. Keep checking back. I promise one of these days I'll have something exciting to say. Like...uhhh....

I had to wait as long as possible to blog again cuz Erik loved the last entry so much. Since the last time, my mom was here for a week and we had a blast. We didn't do as much sightseeing this time as much as just spending quality time together. I put her to work on my bridesmaid dress for my cousin, Amber's, wedding in December. She also painted this adorable table and chairs for Carolyne and Rob as well as sewed me monkey curtains for my new room! I'll post pics once I have them. She was so amazingly strong, flying out here all alone and she made it back to Minny all in once piece! Amazing! Thanks for a super fun week, mom!!!:-)

Tonite I finally got my new OLD car registered and insured. It's now even drivable!hehee. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow on my way to school. Eeks.

Ole and Sven die and wake up in hell. The next day the devil stops in to
check on them and sees them dressed in parkas, mittens, and bomber hats warming themselves around the fire. The devil asks them, "What are you doing? Isn't it hot enough for you?"

Ole and Sven reply, "Vell, ya know, we're from nordern Minnesoda, the land
of snow and ice and cold. We're just happy for a chance to warm up a little bit, ya know."

The devil decides that these two aren't miserable enough and turns up the
heat.
The next morning he stops in again and there they are, still dressed in
parkas, hats and mittens. The devil asks them again, "Its awfully hot down here, can't you guys feel
that?"

Again, Ole and Sven reply, "Vell, like we told you yesterday, we're from
nordern Minnesoda, the land of snow and ice and cold. We're just happy for a chance to warm up a little bit, ya know."

This gets the devil a little steamed up and he decides to fix the two guys.

He cranks the heat up as high as it will go. The people are wailing and
screaming every where. He stops by the room with the two guys from Minnesoda and finds them in light jackets and hats, grilling walleye and drinking beer.

The devil is astonished, "Everyone down here is in abject misery, and you
two seem to be enjoying yourself."

The two Minnesodans reply, "Vell, ya know, we don't get too much warm
weather up dere in International Falls, we've just got to have a fish fry when the weathers this nice."

The devil is absolutely furious, he can hardly see straight.

Finally he comes up with the answer. The two guys love the heat because
they have been cold all their lives.

The devil decides to turn all the heat off in hell.

The next morning, the temperature is below zero, icicles are hanging
everywhere, people are shivering so bad that they are unable to wail, moan and gnash their teeth. The devil smiles and heads for the room with the two Minnesodans.

He gets there and finds them back in their parkas, bomber hats, and
mittens. They are jumping up and down, cheering, yelling and screaming like mad men. The devil is dumbfounded, "I don't understand, when I turn up the heat you're happy. Now its freezing cold and you're
still happy.

What is wrong with you two?"

Ole and Sven look at the devil in surprise, "Vell, don't ya know, if hell
froze over dat must mean da Vikings won da Super Bowl!"

My mom is here! She got here yesterday morning and we spent the day in the city and Hoboken. I'm sooo proud of her for getting here without clawing out the eyes of the stewardesses (she's severely claustrophobic) AND for being my mom. CHEESE!;-) I have her all week...till Saturday!

Today J and I went into the city and just wandered. It was SOO much fun. I hadn't been in for quite a while. We ate at ESPN Zone and watched the Twins get their butts kicked for the second day in a row. Durrrrr.

Tonight is my first night staying at my new apartment! I just love it here. It's super cozy and tomorrow we're gonna get everything organized and ready because....

On Saturday my MOM is coming! She's flying all alone out here to see me! I'm extremely proud of her. Should be an awesome week and something to get me through this week, even though I have tomorrow off for the Jewish holiday! I love Jews!
