Welp...
I handed in my application to grad school at New Jersey City University today. If all goes as planned, in May I'll be enrolling in my first Special Education M.A. class. Scary!
Jason and I also purchased our plane tickets tonight to go home to MN at the end of May. We'll be there from Friday, May 21 till the following Monday, the 24th. I'm PSYCHED!
Oh, and my wonderful parents gave me an early birthday gift! Here's my new bike!

I've been trying to work on becoming domestic, which is like turning a Ford into a BMW...(and YES, I did just use a car analogy. UGHHHH)
The house cleaning isn't so hard, but I need some assistance in the cooking area. Anyone have any great recipes (and easy!)? I'd love to try something new!

Happy Easter Weekend!
I went to the most beautiful Good Friday church service last night. I wish I could be home for the holiday, but we're going to try to make the best of it out here.
All of the work on the apartment paid off this past 2 weeks. After Nell, Matt came to visit and then my ex-nanny friend, Mindy and her boyfriend drove out from Wisconsin. It was such a fun couple weeks, having people to look forward to.
On Thursday I got new glasses and yesterday I went into the city to get my hair done. I'm a new chica now!:-) Just in time for going to Minnesota. Hawk's wedding is the next big event which is at the end of May. WEEEEEE! I've been sooo homesick in the past couple weeks so this will be good.

Oh, and I got my dad's cookies in the mail today! MMMMMMMM. I wonder if there's a diet in which you can only eat cookies!? I'll take that one.

I figured that since Nell (my new Broadway-going-friend) is now safely back in Minnesota and back to work, I should probably update. Jason and I enjoyed her visit immensely and can't wait to have more guests!
Today my brother, Matt, flew into NY so hopefully I'll get to see him in the next few days as well.
Work? What?
