Today is coming out day!
I would like to announce to all those who like a good laugh at Kristen, that I am a newly devout vegetarian. While I was in the shower on Sunday, I decided that meat is gross and I'm much better off not eating it. Ironically, in the past week or so, Jason has become obsessive about Johnsonville Brats. Therefore, our vegetarian apartment smells like burned pork. MMMMM.

Living in our apartment complex, Jason and I are always entertained. We have named many of the characters living around us. For instance, there's Gloria. She had a stroke 2 years ago and has a woman who lives with her and walks her back and forth all day long. She also thinks I am the cat's meow. Whenever she sees Jason she asks for me. When she sees me, she strokes my hair and tells me how beautiful I am. I call her my daily ego boost. Then there's Joan. She's our landlord. She lives directly below us so we wonder what she thinks of us, but mostly, she's always making some kind of wonderful food so we like to bake her stuff to see if she'll return the favor. Hasn't happened yet. But our favorite of all is Running Girl. We don't know her name. No one does. She doesn't ever talk to anyone, yet she is always outside. I bet you can guess what she does! But she doesn't run like you might think. She bolts from the door of her condo to..the dumpster. The garbage is about 25 yards from the door. But sporadically, all night and all day, you can hear the pitter-patter of her feet. Tonight she wasn't just wearing her normal sneakers and cd player. Tonight she was wearing a big white robe and her sneakers and cd player. She also just happened to come out from nowhere and scare the bejeses out of me. I think I felt my heart stop. Anyway...bet you wish you could come visit!

I have been so lucky the past few days! Jason has somehow gotten out of working full days, so yesterday we went into the City around noon, and just wandered. It was a beautiful day and we had such a good time. Then, last night we lucked out and got standing room tickets to Chicago-The Musical. Paige Davis from Trading Spaces is playing Roxy now! It was sweet! Now, the real world awaits. Blahhhhhhhhhh.

Jason and I saw Napolean Dynomite tonite. I felt like I was tripping and couldn't decide if it was super depressing or hilarious. See it.
Oh, and did I mention SUSHI!? The most delicious dinner and crazed movie.

We're back from the most funnest last-minute roadtrip in the history of 2004. We ate at Phillip's Seafood, drank at The Greene Turtle, and on the way home got Thrasher's French Fries (Klank's fave). We soaked up lots of sun at the beach and dove into fun waves. SOOOO relaxing! Thanks, girls!

We're SOOO going to Ocean City tomorrow! Klanker, Lisa, and I are gonna do a last minute road trip to Maryland to hang out on the beaches and eat famous french fries...because it's a diet roadtrip!

Returned back to Jersey late last night. It's actually a relief to be back in the comfort of my own apartment with my sweet boy toy and Raphael. I didn't get up until 11 this morning, but am justifying it with the time zone change. Unpacking may be the only thing I hate more than doing laundry, so I'm avoiding by job searching and tv-watching. Thank you to everyone who made my trip to Minnesota so much fun!

This has been the most amazingly relaxing trip home. I got to see so many familiar faces and have lots of down time. Yesterday Kari came to Alex to hang at the pool and I returned with her to the Twin Cities to stay until I fly out tomorrow afternoon. Today I'm going with Jackie to bust some non-carding cigarette sellers and then for lunch on a patio in Minnetonka. Perfect.
I will admit, however, that I'm having a hard time leaving my family. It seems that the more time you spend, the harder it is to leave. Why? Anyway, luckily, I'll get to see my parents again at the PGA in August and Andy's coming to NY after that. K, bye.

For the last 2 days Jackie and I have done nothing but lay by the pool, sleep, drink, and swim. It's the best vacation ever. Is this really how life is in MN since I left? Tonight, we drink again...wait...that started hours ago. Oopy.

Plans have changed a bit. I got a good temp job for the end of the month and going into August, so I will no longer be going to Nashville...for now. However, now my brother, Andy, will be visiting for a week in August! It should be loads of fun. That's really all I care about. Paying bills and loads of fun...not laundry.(can you tell what i've been doing all afternoon?)

Goin' to Minnesota in 3.5 days!
I'm going to be grounded to the pool, drinking pina coladas and sunbathing my flourescent legs. I can't WAIT!
Jackie's coming to stay for 3 whole days! How can I possibly come back to Jersey after that? I won't. I'll go to Nashville and then to Wisconsin for the PGA! Ok. Summer's set!

So I had this mock interview through my temp agency just to be another interviewee body. It was more just a favor, but it was for Starbucks' corporate office. I just went in and they gave me a chai while I waited. I didn't really dress up and was very casual in the interview. Well, the agency called yesterday to tell me that her plan backfired cuz they wanted to hire me. Lol. It was partially flattering and partially pothetic. Mostly the latter.
