Once upon a time...a long, long 2 years ago, I was almost a nanny for Chris Rock's baby! How cool would that have been? Tonight I will think about it a lot:-)

We're home! Jason and I had the most wonderfully busy trip to Minnesota! Got to see an incredible amount of fun people and got back safely around 12:30am.

• Carolyne, Rob, and Anneliese came to visit us from New Hampshire on Saturday morning! It was awesome to see them again. Hopefully the next stretch won't be as long.
• Happy Birthday to Jacob David!!
• This weekend J took me to Washington D.C. for our 6th month of being engaged anniversary as well as a pre-valentine's getaway. We had sooo much fun staying at the Hilton, wandering the side streets and around the White House and Pentagon. On the way home we got to hit an outlet mall and a casino! It was perfect...until we had to pass through Philly exactly during the last play. It was like a tidal wave chasing us all the way home. We could see the mass of headlights in the rear view mirror but were able to beat 'em. I guess we just wanted to be where the action was;-) Very fun weekend.
• In 2 weeks we're headed home to Minnesota again for some wedding planning fun! Gonna do engagement photos, flowers, tuxes, and meet with the pastor. Gulp. Can't wait to see all them Minnesotans again! Also going to watch my bro, Andy, play b-ball in International Falls!
