PGA Day 8
It was the week of Phil. The biggest week of our lives as a couple thus far has come to a halt, and my pick, Philly, is the champion! WooHoo! My family's flight was cancelled last night so we had a middle of the night trip to Philly. The entire 8 days was amazing, with family and friends surrounding us. Jason did an incredible job and is getting rave reviews from pros, peers, and the public for his organization of volunteers and many other efforts. I am sooooo proud of my boy!

Monday, August 8
In the midst of all of the PGA excitement, many of you know, my brother, Andy, has been very sick. First it was headaches, neck pain, and an infection behind his eye and then it was one side of his face drooping. It has been a very scary few days but I just wanted to quickly post that, thanks to all of your thoughts and prayers, he's doing fine! He saw many doctors today, all of which agree that many of the symptoms are stress related and completely separate from the eye infection. Therefore, he's been put on meds and mom, dad, and Andy are all coming out tomorrow for the tournament! Thank you to everyone for your concern. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful support system!

PGA Day 1:
Jason worked from 5:30AM yesterday to 11:30PM and when he got home we just sat there looking at each other like, "HOLY CRAP! It's here!" Sleep last night was the kind you got as a kid on Christmas Eve, waiting for Santa or the evening before your birthday. Kind of a surreal, anxiousness.
He got up at 4AM this morning and put on his cute new, white PGA shirt and was off! Yikes. And...we're off!

Some a-hole decided it would be funny to spin doughtuts on one of the pro greens at the golf course last night. Nice. Thanks for being so supportful, man! That was sweet.
