I'm in the process of uploading a bunch of the wedding pics to our computer, but for now, I wanted to show you that there's hope. And, a cute picture of all of my girlies;-)

I’d Rather Be A Bear.

In this life, I’m a woman. In my next life, I’d like to come back as a bear.

When you’re a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for 6 months. I could deal with that.

Before you hibernate, you’re supposed to eat yourself stupid. I could deal with that, too.

When you’re a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you’re sleeping, and wake to partially-grown, cute cuddly cubs. I could definitely deal with that.

If you’re a mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them, too. I could deal with that.

If you’re a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat. Yup…gonna be a bear.

Now that we're back and a little settled, I have time to write. Jason and I had the most amazing last 2 weeks ever...and I do mean ever. Our wedding went great. We had soooo much fun and there were so many amazing memories made that I can't even begin to give specifics. But we're MARRIED!!!:-)
Our honeymoon was interrupted by a little storm named Hurricane Wilma. So, we had to change routes. We went to Napa Valley and Carmel. It was the most incredible trip I've ever been on. It was super romantic and relaxing. We got to try all kinds of new wines and saw the most beautiful scenery. If you want to see some pictures, you can click here for the honeymoon highlights or here for wedding weekend.

On a very sad note, we got word on our way home Sunday that my Grandma Dorothy had died that afternoon. We were a little prepared as she had been suffering from Alzheimer's Disease for the past several years, but it doesn't make it much easier. Everyone is doing ok, but I will be flying home to MN alone Wednesday night for the funeral which is Thursday and I'm staying there through the weekend.

With so many wonderful highs, and now this sad low, we are holding strong.
