Despite our horrible Black Friday experience, Jason and I have managed to go on a spending spree in the past couple weeks. It just seems there are so many things that we still need to make our home perfect for a baby to come to.
We purchased a Dodge Durango that will allow Baby Girl, Tiger, and the two of us to travel without hurting one another. We bought a squishy new bed because...well...I'm pregnant and my hips needed comfort. With a lot of help from my mom, we have gotten the nursery almost up to par with adorable bedding, glider, crib, and changing table. We got our first real sized, fake Christmas tree. Now we just need to buy some ice cream and we're set!
I have officially hit the nesting stage and we are madly cleaning out closets, sorting, and scrubbing. I'm due exactly two months from yesterday! Holy cow...I might just live through this!
Just wanted to give a lowdown in case you've been finding the Grodes have been MIA lately. We're in our own little baby-crazed, swollen-footed, heartburn filled, sleep deprived world. Let us be...just let us be.
