Proud moment: I rode the city bus to and from work yesterday all by myself!! I did it! YAY! It was just like the first day of school. Not sure where to get on...not sure where to stop.

The last 2 weeks have gone by so fast! I just looked at the date of my last post and couldn't even believe it!

• My new job is just fabulous. The people I work with are great and I already feel like I've been there for months. Working downtown is definitely less convenient that Bloomington but it's much more fun!:-)
  
• The only bad thing that happened last week was big enough to ruin the whole week...Maya got the stomach flu. On Monday, the first day there, I got a call from our daycare lady at 2pm asking that I come right away to pick her up because she vomited twice in a row. I rushed as fast as I could to get her and, just as we walked toward the door to leave she spewed all over herself, me, and poor Dodie's floor/rug. It was ugly to say the least. I rushed out the door with both of us covered in vomit, being too embarrased to stay and get cleaned up.
  Jason ended up staying home with her the next 2 days and my manager let me work from home on Thursday. It wouldn't be right if we didn't have some drama, right!?
  Anyway, she's FINALLY better (after managing to get Jason, my mom and dad, and 5 of the daycare kids sick as well)! This past week was as seamless as it can get...which we were very grateful for after the previous.
  
• Today we got flight confirmations from Jason's dad who has purchased us tickets to go visit them in Nashville in 2 weeks! We are soooo psyched to get to go back. Such a fun town and we haven't seen Jeanne and Steve in wayyyy too long. Maya will get to try flying for the first time! I'm petrified. Any seasoned traveler moms have advice?
  
• I put up the Christmas Tree last night! Whoa! How did Thanksgiving sneak up on us like that??

Tomorrow's my first day working downtown Mpls! I'm sooo scared! Hopefully I'll be able to get the baby and me ready and out the door before 9:30 am as my last schedule had slowly become since I got laid off! Lol!
