My name is Kristen.

I like lefse.

I went to school at St. Cloud State University. Graduated in May of 2002. I have a degree in education. You'd think that would make me a teacher, but I'm not. I've had about as many careers in the course of 27 years as most have in a lifetime...I like it that way. I am now a Project Coordinator/Database Analyst contractor...ask me tomorrow and it may be different. No matter what, though, I do what I love or I just don't do it. Life's way too short.

In October 2005 I married the love of my life, Jason. Shortly after our wedding, we moved back to the midwest (Minnesota to be precise--although Jason had hoped for Wisconsin) from New Jersey where we met and had an amazing courtship and engagement. We thought life was complete after the adoption of our puppy, Tiger, a Shih Tzu runt. He weighs in at 4.6 lbs. He really is a little Shih... However, on December 21, 2006 we had our first baby. She weighed 4 lbs 14 oz and was 18 inches long. Her name is Maya Anneliese, and she truly is my world. She's perfect. As toddlers go. She sleeps 12 hours at night and is gloriously happy during the day! I could definitely say my life is exactly where I always hoped and so much more. I am a very lucky girl.

I'm not getting any younger. I know. Shocker. I can't help but look at my face every morning and cringe at the lines and gray hairs that are forming. I've been working on creating great "grandma stories" for years now..so I guess gray hairs are appropriate.

What else can I say? Read my website and you'll be just as "in the know" as my family. We don't communicate. That's what the internet is for!!
